IMPORTANT NOTICE

On February 1, 2024, we had to make one of the most difficult decisions in the past ten years. After days and days of thinking about it, consulting an attorney, and talking to board members, family, and friends, we decided it is in our best interest to permanently close the cat lounge in Orland Park.
 
The most recent incident with the landlord, where we didn’t have a working fire alarm or sprinkler system for four days, was our breaking point. Not only were we forced to close, our cats had absolutely no protection in case of a fire. This happening just a few days after PAWS Tinley had a fire caused even more anxiety. We would never forgive ourselves if we ended up staying and something bad happened to the cats. (There is more that we can’t discuss at this time that our attorney is working on.)
 
The cats will all be going to currently approved foster homes. If anyone would like to foster, please reach out to us through the Contact Us page, text, or Facebook messenger.

Adoptable Pet Spotlight

Penny

Penny is a very sweet and loving girl. She is shy at first, but once she gets to know you and is comfortable, she becomes your shadow. She loves to chill in her person’s lap and be petted all over, but is not a fan of being picked up. She is currently staying at our cat lounge adoption center, where she gets to roam freely and hang out with her brother, Percy, and other cats and kittens.

Penny is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. She tested negative for FIV/FELV. Her adoption fee is $135.
